Scholarships and Financial Support

International students are eligible to apply for scholarships based on their academic merit. These are divided into three types: Government scholarships, scholarships granted by the educational institution and scholarships granted by private bodies.
Government scholarships are open for all courses of study except for Medical and Dental Sciences. These scholarships are granted for one government to another, so you will need to apply with the recommendation of the respective government scholarship nominating agency.
Scholarships granted by the institution you choose can be applied for as you enrol. If your entry qualifications are suitable, you can receive a discount or waiver of tuition fees, although this depends largely on the institution in question.
Scholarships granted by private bodies will need you to apply with the relevant scholarship granting body. Each of these will have their own criteria to measure the eligibility of applicants, so you should first look at their terms.

Student loans can be obtained from government and private banks, although you will need to carefully read the terms and conditions involved and evaluate whether you can handle the repayment within the specified time period.
