American Education Centre Limited (AECL), also known as ANC Education is a business conglomerate, specializing in providing the best of international undergraduate and postgraduate education through its partnerships with some of the leading universities world-wide. It is also a fully owned subsidiary of Ceylinco Insurance PLC, the dominant player in Sri Lanka’s insurance market, commanding a 35% market share. It is also the only private university education provider in Sri Lanka to offer multiple options to its students. In doing so, it not only ensures that students pursue their academic and professional dreams but also learn to lead in their chosen fields!

Having been in operation for more than ten years and now being the market leader, we are also the only umbrella organization that offers the entire array of education from pre-school and high school to undergraduate and post-graduate education. ANC Education enables excellent results at the Pre-University, Advanced Diploma, Associate Degree, and Bachelor Degree levels to motivated and committed Sri Lankan and international students from diverse ethnic and socio-economic backgrounds including from countries such as India, Maldives, South Korea, China and Europe.

Our six dynamic education arms are ANC Education, Wycherley International School, St. Nicholas International School, Modern Montessori International, Net Assist International and PATHE Study Medicine; the aggregate student population exceeds 6,000.

Offering flexible entry options to both, O/Level and A/Level qualified students, we also provide for their placement to prestigious universities abroad. Facilitating the completion of a degree program abroad is another aspect that we specialize in, thus saving a considerable sum on the course fee.

ANC Education is an ISO9001:2008 certified and BOI approved entity and accordingly, our foreign and local faculty possess relevant industry experience. All our university partners and their programs are accredited by international and Sri Lankan accreditation bodies.

Quality assurance is a vital aspect of the internationally accepted stringent standards we have set for ourselves in all our programs. Having obtained ISO9001:2008 certification we are subject to mandatory ISO quality audits at regular intervals, for the sustenance of such certification.

In order to foster academic excellence, we do provide our students with the most modern facilities and infrastructure, evidenced by our state-of-the-art lecture rooms, computer laboratories, science and engineering laboratories and a comprehensive library plus resource center.
